The upfront purchase of timber products is less than purchasing a composite equivalent. However, when you start to add your time or labour charges for regular timber cleaning treatments, staining, oiling, and finishing our products over time are far more cost effective than traditional timber.
Hardbark Decking boards have undergone extensive slip rating tests and have been graded as class P5 anti-slip rating. This grading is the greatest slip resistance rating that can be awarded. Our boards can be used in any indoor environment such as undercover pergolas or in any outside areas such as swimming pool surrounds, marine wharves or marinas, forestry broadwalks or any area that is subject to the harsh Australian environment.
All Hardbark products are manufactured by using a unique blend of natural wood fibres and powder plus recycled plastics. Extensive Fire testing has awarded Hardbark with a BAL19 rating. This rating is a moderate risk in bushfires from ember and burning debris attack.
All our boards are manufactured using a heat reduction technology which is tested to produce a board with a surface temperature 30% cooler than standard timber boards.
All our composite products are low maintenance and do not require staining, oiling, painting, or treating. A simple brush down with the broom and a wash with water is all that is needed to keep your products looking like new. Hardbark is also resistant to insects such as borers, termites or white ants. Under the harsh Australian conditions it will not rot, warp, buckle, bend or splinter. (Small tolerances and movement can be caused under some applications.)

Our inner core is the most dense on the market and is manufactured under extreme pressure along with an end result of marine shell toughness for outer skin.
